The City of Camas Engineering staff reviews proposed developments for compliance with the Camas Municipal Code, land use requirements and the Camas Design Standards Manual.
The following residential and commercial development list is updated periodically. We try to reflect the most current status of construction activities and how they may affect the citizens of Camas. In reading these notes, please remember that they reflect the best information we have at the time of publication.
Windust Subdivision, Phase 1 and 2
Windust Subdivision, is an approved 179 lot subdivision located just north of LaCamas Park and south of the future NE 38th Avenue extension between the Hills at Round Lake and the Waterleaf Subdivisions. Rotschy, Inc. is the site contractor. Site clearing and grading operations for both phase 1 and phase 2 are nearing completion and underground utility work is underway in Phase 1. Green Mountain Mixed Use PRD
Green Mountain Mixed Use PRD, is an approved 1,300 lot subdivision located on the former Green Mountain Golf Course at the intersection of NE Goodwin Road and NE Ingle Road. The site contractor is Nutter Underground, Inc. The contractor is finishing up the first 4 phases of the development improvements onsite. Concurrently with onsite improvements, the contractor is in the process of extending water from the west side of LaCamas Creek to NE Ingle Road and extending sewer from Alexandria Lane to NE Ingle Road. Additionally, there will be a new sanitary sewer pump station constructed south of the Goodwin and Ingle Road intersection. The utility work in Goodwin Road is scheduled to be completed near the end of April. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes through the area and should expect interment traffic delays during this time. Verona Short Plat
Verona Short Plat, is an approved 8 lot short plat located north of NW 38th Avenue between NW Dahlia Dr. and NW Astor St. The site contractor is now Orear Excavating & Construction. Site utility improvements are nearing completion and road construction work should begin in the near future. Motorists should expect minor traffic delays and or detours during the limited half width street improvements to NW 38th Avenue. The Hills at Round Lake, Phases 8-11
The Hills at Round Lake, Phases 8 – 11 total 87 lots of the approved 342 lot subdivision. The site is located south of NE Woodburn Dr., north of LaCamas Creek Park and west of NE Tillicum Street. The site contractor is Rotschy, Inc. Site grading is nearing completion and underground utility work is expected to begin this month. One Stop Mini Storage
One Stop Mini Storage is an approved 5 phase site plan review project where the owner has been approved to construct several new storage rental units as well as installing a new onsite managers office, parking and associated landscaping and storm improvements.
