The City Clerk's Office, part of the Administrative Services Department, is dedicated to serving the needs of the citizens of Camas with timely and quality services in a positive and professional manner. The Clerk’s Office preserves the City’s official records and administers accurate and timely information through various media formats to the meet the needs of City officials, the community and City departments. All City departments contribute to the City Clerk’s delivery of services to the community.
The City Clerk is Jennifer Gorsuch and the Deputy City Clerk is Bernie Bacon.

- Recording and maintaining transcripts of the City Council, Planning Commission, and other City board meetings (The City welcomes public meeting citizen participation. TTY Relay Service: 711. In compliance with the ADA, if you need special assistance to participate in a meeting, contact the City Clerk’s office at (360) 834-6864, 72 hours prior to the meeting to enable the City to make reasonable accommodations to ensure accessibility (28 CFR 35.102-35.104 ADA Title 1.))
- Overseeing the publishing of the City’s Municipal Code
- Maximizing access to City government
- Publishing and maintaining City ordinances and resolutions (click the Legislation tab)
- Publishing/posting legal notices for the City Council and other City business
- Supporting the City Council and City staff in their legislative functions
- Maintaining custody of the City seal and official City records such as deeds, easements, and contracts
- Overseeing Citywide records management (the City Clerk is the City’s Public Records Officer
- Attesting to all public instruments and official acts of the Mayor
