In light of Governor Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order and growing concerns around COVID-19, the Camas-Washougal Fire Department has decided to suspend the current EMT/Paramedic hiring process and amend the application process as follows:
• Applications WILL NOT be accepted in person.
• Applications MUST be emailed.
• Written, practice, and physical exams are all canceled.
• New application instructions are available at http://www.cityofcamas.us/images/FIRE/COVIDFireApplicationProcess.pdf.
• Remainder of testing will take place at a later date.
This information pertains to two positions for which the application period opens March 30, 2020:
1) Lateral Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic
2) Entry Level Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic
