Seeking Family-Friendly Events
In this time of COVID-19 and “Stay Home, Stay Healthy,” I find myself searching for free activities to do with my 7-year-old daughter now more than ever. Almost everything I find is virtual, of course, but it occurred to me that what I needed was a good collection of sites to check on a regular basis. Therefore, I have compiled the following list as a resource guide, and have verified that all these sites list either live virtual or local Camas events that are free and aimed at kids:
Event Resources
- Red Tricycle
- Hulafrog
- Vancouver Family Magazine
- PDX Parent
- Wide Open School: for grades Pre-K and 6-12
- Camas Public Library and Camas Parks & Recreation (couldn’t resist including these!)
