A new traffic signal will become operational on Monday, June 11th, 2018! The signal at NW 38th Avenue and NW Fisher Creek Drive was designed and installed a few years ago as part of the NW 38th Phase I improvements. The signal was not activated previously, but was planned and constructed in anticipation of future growth of the City. Recent traffic studies have confirmed that daily vehicle traffic now warrants this signal’s activation. This will be the ninth traffic signal operated by the City. Later this year two more signals will be constructed and activated. One at the intersection of NW Brady Road and NW 16th Avenue, and one at NW Payne Road and NW Pacific Rim Boulevard as part of the Camas School District’s projects in the area.
