Teen Zine Club*: What is a zine? Short for Magazine or Fanzine, a zine is a do-it-yourself (D.I.Y.) publication that can be made & shared by anyone. It can contain original writings, artwork, photos, & more. They can be photocopied or printed; small or BIG; simple or complex; written, typed, or drawn; & on any subject the creator cares about! Join us for our Zine Afternoon, a chance for you to work alone or collaboratively on zines, comics, artist books, or other paper projects in the library.We have staplers, scissors, Sharpies, adhesives, book and magazine scraps, and a photocopier. Grades 7-12 welcome. Every first Wednesday of the month, starting June 7th, at 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Cat Adoption Event: Open your heart and adopt a cat or two from the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society on Saturday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come any time!
Genealogy: Learn how to research your own family tree from Brian A. Runyan, President of the Clark County Genealogical Society. Monday, June 12th at 6:00 p.m.
Monthly Board Game Night: Come play board games with others. We will provide the games, or bring your own. Scheduled one Friday each month throughout 2017. Adults 18 and older please. Friday, June 16th at 6:30 p.m.
A Book Swap for Adults: FREE! Trade your used books, CDs or DVDs with others; take as many items as you bring! Saturday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Come any time!
Harry Potter Extravaganza*: Celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter, first published in 1997. Join us for a fun filled afternoon of Harry Potter activities. Get sorted into your Hogwarts house, hear excerpts from the books, take some Harry Potter inspired selfies, make fun crafts, answer Harry Potter Trivia, plus more! Complete your passport for an entry to win a complete boxed set of Harry Potter books. Special showing of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at 3:00 p.m. Complete your passport before 3:00 p.m., then enjoy the movie. Costumes encouraged! Saturday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. It's the first day of the Summer Reading Program!
Henna Tattoos and Bollywood*: For teens in 7th-12th grades. Get a free henna temporary tattoo, and learn some fun Bollywood dance moves! Sign-up required. This event is part of the 2017 Summer Reading Program. Tuesday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m.

Summer Movies*: On our big screen, with popcorn! Free! Every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. during the summer, starting June 28th. Full list of movies is here.

Simply Write: A writer's support group. On the veranda every second Tuesday of the month from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Pokemon Club: Kids, come trade and share your Pokemon interests! This program is a community/library partnership. Every second Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. 
The Lego Club*: A gathering for Lego lovers of all ages. A new "Librarian’s Challenge" every month, free play, and thousands of Lego bricks and minifigs. No sign-up is required. Every third Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

Baby Storytime: for ages infant or 1. 20 minutes. Thursdays at 10:30 or 11:30 a.m.

Toddler Storytime: for ages 2 or 3. 30 minutes. Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m., or 11:45. Craft day is Wednesday, June 14th (Father's Day theme).

Preschool Storytime: for ages 4 or 5. 30 minutes. Fridays at 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Bring something for show-and-tell! Craft day is Friday, May 16th (Father's Day theme).

All Ages Storytime: located upstairs. 30 minutes. Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. Last day before summer break: 6/6

All Ages Yoga Storytime: For kids, located upstairs. 30 minutes. Tuesdays at 10:30. Bring a yoga mat if you have one; no experience necessary. Last day before summer break: 6/6

ASL Storytime: for infants through age two. 20 minutes. Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. 

Russian Storytime: for infants through age 5. Mondays at 10:30 a.m. (No Russian storytime June 5 or 12)

Spanish/English Storytime: 30 minutes. Mondays at 11:30 a.m.


Page Turner Book Discussion Group*:No Page Turners in June, July, or August. 
No 2 Readers Read the Same Book*: For adults. Readers of the Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald, and come to the discussion on Tuesday, June 6th at 6:00 p.m. Pick up your copy for the following month at the meeting, or at the library's service desk after the group meets.
Mystery and Mayhem Book Discussion Group*: For adults. Read Seven Suspects by Renee James, and come to the discussion on Tuesday, June 13th at 6:00 p.mPick up your copy for the following month at the meeting, or at the library's service desk after the group meets.
