Final Paving for the NW 6th roundabout is scheduled for October 5th, Monday, October 10th and Tuesday, October 11th. Temporary traffic detours on NW 6th Avenue are related to the roundabout construction currently underway at NW 6th Avenue and NW Norwood Street. Please read through the final paving schedule below carefully and plan your transportation route accordingly. View the NW 6th and NW Norwood final paving detour map to help you with your travel plans.
The current schedule is weather-dependent and may be adjusted to later days as required. C-Tran, the Camas School District, Police, Fire, and area businesses have been notified of the scheduled detour. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of the project. Please remember to give yourself some extra commute-time when leaving your home, with the understanding that your drive time is likely to require an additional 10--15 minutes, depending on your destination. AVOIDING THE AREA MAY BE YOUR BEST OPTION. Questions and comments may be directed to Jim Hodges, Project Manager at (360) 817-7234, or by email at jhodges@cityofcamasus.
