Steve Hogan is serving his second term as a City Council member. He has been a resident of Camas since 1994. He has been a senior manager and chief operating officer in the steel and wood industries. He currently is employed as the general manager of Newark Paperboard Products plants in Longview, Washington and Richmond, B.C. He was a member of the 2009 Class of Leadership Clark County. He was the 2007-2008 President of the Camas-Washougal Rotary Club. He served as a member of the Camas School District Facility Committee and was a member of the 2007 $90 Million School Bond Committee. He is a member of the Camas Athletic Fields Committee currently working on upgrading the six acre field south of Doc Harris Stadium. He was a member of the Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE) and is a former board member and president of the Camas Educational Foundation.
Steve has received the designation of Certified Municipal Leader from the Association of Washington Cities in 2006, and received his Advanced Certified Municipal Leader designation in 2007. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration specializing in finance, from the University of Washington. He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Seattle University specializing in marketing. He is certified as a production and inventory manager by the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
